Garden bird stick and stitch
Stick, stitch and rinse under a warm running tap.

Stitch in the same direction in each section.

Use single strands for fine detail, and double strands for a chunky texture.

For a thread painted effect choose three colours from light to dark.

Add highlights with metallic or iridescent threads.
Blue tit- suggested colours with DMC threads.
Blues: 162, 798, 796, 820.
Yellows: 11, 445, 444, 307
Greys: 413, 317.
Diamante white for highlights.
Robin- suggested colours with DMC threads.
Reds/Oranges: 720, 721, 920, 922
Browns: 801. 433, 434 938
Greys: 413, 535
pink: 3859, 758
Diamante white for highlights.
Great tit- suggested colours with DMC threads.
Yellows/greens: 445, 3821, 18, 973, 307, 580
Greys: 317, 645, 513, 414
